At the office of Patricia Arroyo, D.D.S., our top priority during this
evolving pandemic is the health and well-being of our patients and their
families, our amazing staff, us doctors, and the community at large.
In response to the spread of COVID-19, we're only seeing patients for dental
emergencies and on a case-by-case basis if they are not showing symptoms
such as fever, persistent coughing, or shortness of breath.
Our practice strictly adheres and exceeds the standard for infection
control by wearing personal protective gear, using hospital-grade disinfectants,
practicing the latest sterilization protocols, utilizing single-use disposable
materials, and updating training protocols to the latest CDC guidelines on a
daily basis in this present environment.
Please be understanding with our new check-in policies as they are in place for your safety and the safety of our community:
- Your temperature will be taken at check-in. Anyone with a
temperature of 100.4 or higher, will be rescheduled.
- Adults, please only bring yourself to your appointment.
- If you are a parent bringing your child, please only bring the
child with the scheduled appointment.
- Patients will be asked to wait in their vehicles after completing
the check-in process to limit the number of people in the office at one time.
You’ll receive a call or text when the doctor is ready to see you.
The Extraoral Dental Suction System
In the wake of the recent global pandemic, in addition to our ongoing
strict guidelines with regards to CDC mandates and "universal precautions",
we are pleased to announce an additional layer of safety we have added
to facilitate the care and protection of both our patients and our staff.
The HealthyAir® Source Capture Oral Aerosol Vacuum & Air Purification System,
provides additional high volume removal of droplets and
aerosols associated with dental care. As contaminated air passes
through the Pre-Filter, eHEPA® Filter, and Enhanced Carbon Catalytic Filter,
they work in conjunction to capture ultra fine air borne particles and
microorganisms, including virus, bacteria, mold, gasses, dust, smoke,
allergens, odors, and VOCs, as well as mercury particulate and vapors.
